PRSA Oregon: Account Supervisor

As Account Supervisor for PRSA Oregon, I help guide our student team as we support the chapter’s communication and event goals. I work closely with PRSA leadership, keep our team connected to the client’s needs, and make sure we stay organized, strategic, and aligned with the expectations of a professional industry organization.

Most of my work has been centered around the Northwest Communicators Conference. I’ve led my team through student panel recruitment, a call-for-presenters campaign, assembling a student panel, speaker spotlights, and overall event promotion and planning. I’ve also been collaborating with the PRSA Oregon board to strengthen student–professional connections.

On April 16–17, we hosted the conference at the University of Oregon Portland campus, bringing together more than 100 attendees and 30+ speakers. Seeing months of planning come together into a sold-out event was incredibly rewarding and highlighted the impact of thoughtful, integrated communications in building a strong professional community.

Call For Presenters

As part of our work supporting PRSA Oregon’s Northwest Communicators Conference, I led the development and rollout of the Call for Presenters campaign. This included creating the event messaging, coordinating outreach, and designing promotional materials—like this graphic—to help generate early interest and encourage speaker proposal submissions from PR professionals across the region. This camapign helped generate over 100 speaker applications.

Student Panel Proposal

To support PRSA Oregon’s goal of strengthening student–professional connections, our team collaborated with the PRSA board to develop a Student Panel for the Northwest Communicators Conference. I helped lead the strategy behind the panel concept and created promotional materials—like this flyer—to recruit student participants, with targeted outreach to the UO PRSSA chapter. We also coordinated with a PRSA board member to speak at a PRSSA meeting to boost engagement and awareness.
